The Fine Art expertise office

Your Artwork, Our Expertise

A member of the Chambre Nationale des Experts (CNE), Alexis Bordes is a specialist in Old Master paintings and drawings from the 16th century to the late 19th century. He works in collaboration with around twenty auction houses in Paris and across the regions of France.

He is assisted by an experienced art historian, Mégane Ollivier, who conducts in-depth research on often anonymous works.

As part of this activity, we offer the preparation of inventories for insurance purposes, valuations, and condition reports for your collections. Indeed, the work of expertise requires extensive knowledge of art history to breathe new life into paintings and drawings whose attribution has been lost or forgotten.

Reconstructing the history of works of art often reveals prestigious provenances that enhance their value. The appraisal of your collections also involves providing guidance to ensure the most favorable sales and circumstances.

We remain at your disposal and invite you to send us photographs, along with the dimensions of the works you wish to have appraised, by email.
