Our team

Galerie Alexis Bordes is above all a place of encounters and passion, where diverse paths and sensibilities meet around a shared love of art. Alongside Alexis Bordes, gallery director and public sales expert, independent specialists collaborate, each bringing their perspective and expertise in their chosen field.

Painting, drawing, sculpture, or works of art: each piece is approached with curiosity, rigor, and respect. The team strives to understand what makes a work unique, to place it within its history, and to reveal its beauty, thereby creating a living connection between past and present.

Beyond expertise, what drives the gallery is the desire to share: to advise collectors, guide art lovers, and transmit not only knowledge but also emotion. For here, every exchange is an opportunity to open perspectives and to nurture the shared passion that binds us to the works.

Alexis Bordes

Director

After earning a degree in Law and Art History, Alexis Bordes trained at the Hôtel Drouot alongside several auctioneers, before opening his first gallery in 1996.

As a public sales expert, he has since supported numerous European and international collectors, providing them with his expertise and personalized advice.

In parallel, he has devoted several years of research to the preparation of the catalogue raisonné of the portraitist Henri François Riesener, in collaboration with Philippe Nusbaumer.

Two independent experts are also present at the Alexis Bordes Gallery
